On July 31, 1941, Hermann Göring gave written authorization to SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich, head of the Reich Main Security Office, to prepare and submit a plan for a "final solution to the Jewish question" in territories under German control and to coordinate the participation of all government organizations involved. The plan became known as Aktion Reinhard, a code name for the secret plan of the Nazis in World War II to exterminate the Jews in the territory of the General Government of occupied Poland. On January 20, 1942, a conference was held at the Gross Wannsee village. The meeting lasted 90 minutes and served to specify and coordinate the extermination of Jews. This phase of the Holocaust was marked by the introduction of extermination camps in Poland. The photographs were taken on February 2016 at the extermination camps that were part of Aktion Reinhard as Chelmno, Bełżec, Sobibor, Treblinka, Majdanek and Auschwitz-Birkenau.

In 2008 I participated together with the Nigerian photographer Akintunde Akinleye in the project "Hunger Market: open 24 hours", promoted by "Action Against Hunger" and included within the "No hunger" communication campaign. We traveled together to various areas of Mauritania to combine our images with those of other photographers and filmmakers.
